The University conducts its own entrance test for admission to PhD programme. Any candidate, who has done master’s in the relevant discipline of law, can apply for the same. The final selection of students will be based on the entrance test scores and the performance in PI. Eligibility criteria for the PhD programme is given below:

Admission to all the NLIU Bhopal courses is entrance-based. The university accepts CLAT score for admission to BA LLB and LLM programme. The eligibility requirements for all the popular programmes offered by the university are tabulated below:|

Admission to the First Year of the 5-Year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme is made strictly on merit, based on the All India Entrance Examination.
To be eligible for admission in the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme, the candidate should:
Have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks. The Candidates appearing in the 12th Standard Examination in March/ April, 2015 can also apply.
Have been selected at the All India Entrance Test held by NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI.
