The experience requirements are varying according to Institutes/ Colleges. The AIIMS does not required any kind of experience for M.Sc. Nursing course. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Nursing of AIIMS is given below. AIIMS eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Nursing : (I) B.Sc. (Hons. ). Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic /B Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised University, from an educational institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates). (ii) Registration as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council. While the DMCH Ludhiana needs the one year experience. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Nursing of DMCH Ludhiana is given below. Eligibility criteria of DMCH for M.Sc. Nursing:
1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2. Minimum Education required: The candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from any institution which is recognised by Indian Nursing Council with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. For SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation of marks may be given.
3. Minimum Experience required: Minimum one year of work experience (clinical or teaching) after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or prior/ after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is required, preferably in any critical care setting prior to enrollment.
4. Any other qualification/ eligibility fixed by the university.
5. Candidate shall be medically fit.
