Yes, the part-time PhD course candidates need to visit the IIFT Delhi campus on weekends. The classes are conducted for this course on weekends at the institute. It is necessary that the enrolled candidates take classes and appear for them as per the schedule given by the institute. The schedule is provided by IIFT. It shall be uploaded on its official website (iift.ac.in) as well. Aspirants can also visit the campus in person to enquire regarding the same.

The seat intake for all three PhD programmes (full-time and part-time) at IIFT Delhi is 15. The seat allocation procedure is carried out in accordance with the seat intake, category of the candidate, overall scores, etc. It must be taken into consideration that the given seat intake is as per unofficial sources. IIFT Delhi offers PhD courses in the streams of Management and Economics, while IIT Delhi offers PhD in Management only. Both institutes offer doctoral-level courses in full-time and part-time modes. The total tuition fee for the PhD programmes is INR 2.5 Lacs at IIFT Delhi as per the unofficial sources. IIFT Delhi PhD admission is done on the basis of candidates' performance in the written test conducted by IIFT. Candidates further need to take part in the personal interview round to shortlist the candidates. These shortlisted candidates are further eligible to take admission. To confirm their seats, the selected candidates need to pay the required amount of fee within the due date as prescribed by the institute.

IIFT Delhi offers INR 15,000 as the fellowship for the first two years of the degree course/work. The fellowship is given to some selected candidates only. Along with the application form, certain documents have to be submitted. The aspirants are required to submit scanned copies of below-mentioned documents while filling IIT Delhi application form in online mode:
- the latest passport-size photograph
- First and last pages of Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport

The total course fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, medical fees, transport fees, etc. IIT Delhi PhD tuition fee for full-time course is INR 7,500 per semester. In addition, PhD (part-time/sponsored) programmes is INR 17,500. The hostel fee for PhD candidates is INR 13,250. Some other fee such as students distress fund scheme (each semester) of INR 400 and insurance scheme (yearly) fee of INR 500 may also be added in the fee. Further, the fee mentioned here is taken from IIT Delhi 2023 prospectus.

Yes, IIT Delhi accepts GATE/CEED/UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR entrance exam scores for admission to different specialisations offered under the IIT Delhi PhD programme. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score can be called for an interview round by some of the departments. The accepted exam can vary depending upon the chosen PhD specialisation.
