Graduates of MBA by distance learning from a recognised university and degree recognised as equivalent to MBA by AIU are eligible for PhD. You can do both MBA and PhD by distance learning from IGNOU

You have to prepare a research proposal and apply with IELTS marks, then you can get admission. Alternatively, you can do 1 year research degree like M.Res or M.Phil, then you can pursue Ph.D.

If you are able to get admission in a German University, you will able to get scholarship and or research assistantship to sponsor your educational and living expenses. You may just require your initial few months expenses.

You need to enrol yourself for the Ph.D if you are qualified for this. You need to be a post graduate for this. However, some universities admit BE graduates for Ph.D courses. Every university has short-listing criteria. You may have to take an exam and/or appear for an interview for the same.

Distance mode is not permitted rather MBA in tourism management through distance is possible. Ph.d requires research and devotion of quality time for the specialisation.
