First of all, you have to give English language proficiency tests like TOEFL, GRE, etc. Then, you have to search for different scholarships offered by major universities in chemistry. Then you have to apply to them. In short there is no such short method to success. There is no such general exam that can provide you scholarships.

Of course, you will get doctorate after completion of your Ph.D. You can then start using Doctorate before your name also.

At the end of the day, Ph.D will help you to secure good job on good post as most of the institutions ask for it. So, if you decide to make your career in teaching profession, this degree is mostly helpful. But, if you want to make your career in marketing or finance department or want to work in private sectors like MNC, then it is not necessary to have Ph.D.
