The total tuition fee of the PhD programme at SBSR Sharda University is INR 2.3 Lacs to be paid over three year period. If candidates want to get an extension during their PhD, they will have to pay additional fees per semester their PhD programme is extended. PhD students can also avail fellowships offered by the institution. Candidates should have a look at the university website for policies and guidelines related to the PhD programme.

The length of PhD at SBSR Sharda University can be adjusted according to the requirements of the research work. The programme is offered with a minimum of three year duration, the first year is full of course work related to the research, afer that candidates are required to show monthly progress reports till the time their PhD is finished. Yes, Vidyalankar School of Information Technology does offer PhD programme. The institute acceptes candidates through entrance basis. Students need to either appear for the PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by University of Mumbai or provide valid score of any other accepted test, such as GATE/ CSIR/ SET/ NET/ UGC/ ICAR, etc. Further, students need to appear for the Personal Interview/ Presentation rounds conducte by the respective department.
