As per the official website, the instutute inducts students to the PhD programme twice in a single academic year, once in the June-July session and again in the November-December session. Yes, LNMIIT does provide merit-based scholarships to students who are a part of the full-time PhD programme. With these scholarships, the institute aims to help students financially. Those who are offered fellowships by the institute are provided a stipend of INR 50,000 per month. Part-time PhD students are not eligible for the institute fellowship. Other than this, students can also avail financial assistance from external funding agencies, such as UGC, CSIR, etc.
