While the NEST exam is mostly for integrated MSc courses of institutions like NISER and UM-DAE CEBS, it will not be the best option for those who would like to have a Ph.D. programme pursuing theoretical quantum physics.
Alternatively, appear for tests like the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), which are more appropriate for Ph.D. admissions in physics.
