IIM Shillong will conduct the interview round for PhD admissions 2026 on April 11th and 12th for the selected candidates. The institute will reveal the results of application screening on April 5th 2026. Candidates whose name appear on the list are the selected candidates for the personal interview round for PhD admissions.

The last date to apply for IIM Shillong PhD admissions is 24th March in the academic year 2026. The registration window for IIM Shillong PhD courses was opened in the month of November 2025.
Hence, candidates who have received their scorecards for one of the accepted entrance exams can apply by going to the website of IIM Shillong.

No, candidates who have a work experience of over 10 years are not required to appear for any entrancee exams to qualify for IIM Shillong PhD admissions. However, such candidates are required to produce two reference letters from senior leadership for the experience to qualify for IIM Shillong PhD admissions.

No, the UGC-NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for IIM Shillong PhD admissions. Aside from UGC-NET, candidates can also appear for the CAT, GRE, GATE or GMAT to qualify for PhD admissions as well.
Candidates who fulfill certain requirements are not required to appear for any of the aforementioned entrance exams to qualify for IIM Shillong PhD admissions.

Candidates applying for PhD programme at NIPER Guwahati should have fellowship from CSIR-UGC (JRF), DBT (JRF), ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent programmes. GPAT/GATE and similar entrance exams are not considered valid fellowship schemes for PhD admission at NIPER Guwahati.

PhD applicants at NIPER Guwahati should have Master's degree in any branch of Pharmaceutical sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or any related fields. Candidates should have valid fellowship from CSIR-UGC (JRF), DBT (JRF), ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent programmes. They have to mail their application and CV to academic counsel.
