Candidates can pursue PhD in Biochemical Engineering after completing MTech in Chemical Engineering or any other related specialisation. BIIB Pune selects candidates based on entrance exams such as UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, GATE, etc. The institute also conducts an entrance test (SBUP-PET) for admission to the PhD programme. The qualifying marks for the entrance test is 50%. Selected candidates are further called for an interview/viva voce round for final selection.

Yes in general a master's degree is one of the stepping stones toward a doctorate. However before taking a decision on that, reflect on why you want to pursue a doctorate.

A PhD is typically a research degree. It may help in teaching and consulting. A master's degree indicates mastery of one's profession.

No, there's no age limit to opt for a PhD in Forensic Science, however, you'll need to fulfil the eligibility requirements and clear the exams required to get admission to the program.

No, there is no specific age limit to apply for a PhD in Environmental Science, but there are other eligibility criteria that you must meet:
You must have a master's degree in a relevant field from a UGC-approved university with a minimum qualifying score. The minimum qualifying score is usually 55%, but there may be a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
