The admission process for a PhD in Yoga varies by institution, but typically involves the following steps:

The process for a PhD in Computer Science in India is to

• Gain PG degree from a UGC approved University.
• Score a min. of 55% marks in PG.
• Provide a statement of research interests.
• Research experience/project work or internships.
• Colleges give preferences if you qualify CSIR-NET/ GATE 

Candidates applying for PhD course at IIT Goa have to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 200. There is a relaxation in the application fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ EWS/ female candidates. The fee for such aspirants is INR 200. Aspirants need to pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.

Candidates need to complete a master's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree with 60% aggregate or CPI 6/10 or equivalent. (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 or equivalent for SC/ST) to apply for IIT Goa PhD programme. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 70% aggregate or CPI 7 (65% aggregate or 6.5 CPI for SC/ ST candidates) can also apply.

An FPM is equivalent to a PhD in Management. 

FPM programs offered by various business schools and management institutes are essentially doctoral-level programs that confer a PhD degree upon completion.

The process for PhD admissions for most of the colleges generally starts in December.

SJMSOM PhD tuition fee is around INR 96,000. Additionally, hostel fee is INR 1.39 lakh and the one-time fee cost is INR 11,600. The total course fee may include other components, such as caution deposit, hostel fee, thesis fee, library security deposit (Refundable), etc. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. Candidates can pursue PhD in Biochemical Engineering after completing MTech in Chemical Engineering or any other related specialisation. BIIB Pune selects candidates based on entrance exams such as UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, GATE, etc. The institute also conducts an entrance test (SBUP-PET) for admission to the PhD programme. The qualifying marks for the entrance test is 50%. Selected candidates are further called for an interview/viva voce round for final selection.
