AS per PCI guidelines Diploma in pharmacy and B.Pharma graduates are eligible to seek pharmacist license. B.Tech in chemical engineering graduates are not eligible to seek pharmacist license.

The basic objective of PGDPSM programme is to improve carrier opportunities of science graduates. This programme will help in improving the knowledge and skills of the students who are looking their carrier in the pharmaceutical industries and also those who are already doing similar type of assignments. PGDPSM diplomaholders are not eligible for registration from state pharmacy council. Diploma in pharmacy from PCI approved college is mandatory for registration from state pharmacy council. PCI did not recognize any diploma for registration purpose granted under correspondence course

B.Pharm is necessary for getting the Licence for chemist shop. However, we would suggest you to visit the website of Pharmacy Council Of India (http://pci.nic.in/) for all the requirements, as these requirements might change time to time.
