If you are speaking about Du then for it either you have B.Sc. Phy from Du itself so that if you have high marks then you could clear on merit basis or need to clear DU entrance exam. Jam score is not required for Du. On jam website they have mentioned about the institute where jam score is valid.

Hello Janardhan, I can tell you about admission in LPU. The eligibility is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Physics or B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) or equivalent. However, for scholarship you need to take LPU NEST exam. The details and the last year exam papers are on the website. Dear Sujith, I don't think so that it is mandatory but you can choose it as an elective subject. My friend did B.Sc (Hons. ) in Physics from LPU and now working in the research sector. Following foundation courses are taught in this programme: -CalculusMechanic and Mechanics LaboratoryElectricity & magnetism. C programmingThermal PhysicsDifferential Equations
