Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . Graduation is the primary requirement for admission to Osmania University's postgraduate programme. For entry into MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, or M.Li.Sc programmes, applicants must have completed their undergraduate degrees in the respective discipline with a minimum cumulative GPA of 40%. Admission to the MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MCJ, MSW, M.Li.Sc., and LL.M. programmes is contingent on passing the university's OUCET exam.

To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

The expected Osmania University TS EAMCET Cutoff for 2023 is 800 to 110000th rank in the general category and 3000 to 125000th rank in the SC category.

Osmania University's University College of Science provides courses in many different kinds of courses and programs.Approximately 800 students get admission each year to UCS for all B.Sc. numbers that are allowed. The Osmania University has not announced the CPGET 2025 dates as of now. However, as per the past dates, it can be guessed that the exam will be conducted in the first two weeks of July 2025. Additionally, the application form is expected to be released in Jun/ Jul month.
