After finishing Engineering Physics from one of the IITs, scholars have immense job opportunities. Selection in IIT placements means a job in best companies and excellent remuneration package. Engineering Physics degree holders from IITs are evolved in research and development activities. They are usually hired by different industries like telecom, microelectronics, lasers, and micro-devices, etc. This a searchable branch, so you always have an option of higher studies.

The undergrads from IITs has a package of around 11 Lacs per annum, where the highest being rupees 17 Lacs. Though, the degree of engineering physics has a large pool of opportunities and options apart from the job in big corporates. Many, research organizations are inviting the new talents to carry their research forward and paying high for them. Also, students not want to go for research can be teachers in various coaching institutes as well as private colleges. The studies carried forward may take you to the extreme level in the branch and one can be a professor in deemed institution of India. The first and foremost thing you should do before starting your class 11 is to revise everything you studied in Science and Maths from class 6 to class 10. don't leave any part untouched and build up your concepts on the topics thoroughly. Now, you are almost ready to face the upcoming challenges. Now, you said that you love Maths and Physics. Your choice is pretty good as Maths and Physics complement each-other. Assuming you are not inclined towards biology, I would suggest you to take Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) with Computer Science. Now that you have chosen your stream, its time to devote yourself towards your love, I. e your subjects. From class 11 onwards, the subjects become vast. So, read very sincerely. Try to understand each and every concepts explained in your book. It will be beneficial to you if along with the book, you try to learn things from net also. It will help to widen your horizons. Keep calm and focus on gaining knowledge. You have to do these things in class 11 and 12 :Study with full concentration with crystal clear concepts built-up. Don't neglect Chemistry, as it is also very vital. Try to score nice marks. After class 12, you have many choices. You can do engineering, or you can do B.Sc. Try to think what you like. Go for the degree which attracts you most. After your Bachelor's, you can do Masters and even can go for Ph.D. Then, you can try to do research work at good places, maybe even abroad. But doing all these requires a solid foundation, which can only be built up in your school days.
