Eligibility for M.Sc in Astrophysics:
The minimum eligibility required for admission for the course is, the candidate must have completed graduation with science from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
A few universities and colleges in India conduct entrance examinations for admission for the course.
M.Sc in Astrophysics: Admission Process:
Admission for the course is conducted in 2 stages:
Institutional Test.
Personal Interview- involving assessment of fitness, work experience, publications and statement of purpose. Most colleges admit students for the course on the basis of their performance in the relevant entrance test. Some institutions/ universities conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. The admission process may vary from college to college.
M.Sc in Astrophysics: Academic Options:
Upon successful completion of the course, successful postgraduates interested in higher studies in the discipline may go for pursuing M.Phil./ PH.D. in the subject.
