There are colleges which accept a score of 6.5 in IELTS, however there are other colleges which require a minimum of 7 in the IELTS exam. If you are in seek for high paying job then you are advised to prepare for government exams or do some job oriented course which at least made you competitive in this cut throat competition.
Other option is to go for M.Sc. It will also enhance your chances to getting a high paying job.
