This depends on the institutes policies and schemes. Please mention the name of the institute where you wish to apply, or contact the institute directly.

This forces them to accept students at least in the second year of 4 year course so that they get the fees for remaining three years to run their institutions. ANU accepts only Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and for Diploma candidates, Andhra Pradesh ECET. Therefore, you have only two options to get admission in ANU, either through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or Andhra Pradesh ECET (for Diploma candidates).

Hi Harshad,
As you have completed your 12th exam now, you can join the engineering college through lateral entry, it will not affect your placement at all.
Best of luck.

Hello Suraj Kumar,
There is no mention of any domicile requirement for appearing in this exam. But then all examination centers are in Karnataka. It's also a fact that thousands of seats in private engineering colleges are remaining vacant & this is one way of filling these & hence condition of domicile may not be existing. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this exam. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/amp/dcet-exam?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQCCAE=#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/dcet-exam

Yes, it is the easiest thing to do. You failed in class 12th board exam no problem apply for the NIOS, which is the national institute of open school and you can appear for the class 12th and you can also. So, I join the college for Diploma or polytechnic at the base of class 10th result so you can do both of them simultaneously.
