Normally speaking, lateral entry mode is available to the students having domicile of the state. Anna University is the nodal agency for the state of Tamil Nadu and all government and private colleges. Deemed to be universities are outside the ambit. Admissions are based on marks obtained in Diploma. Hence I suggest you must score well in your Diploma exam. All relevant information is available on the website of Anna University. Usually the college website have a notification when the admission starts. Please keep checking the website. Also, nowadays colleges post on social media when there is any important announcement. Try to check that too. All the best

Admission is based on the marks obtained in class 10th.
Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed 10th standard or its equivalent with at least 35% aggregate marks.
Candidates passing 10th standard from Maharashtra State Board must have Maths/Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) as compulsory subject.
Admission Process:
Admission is through Centralized Admission Process of Maharashtra based on marks obtained in class 10th.
