For lateral entry, a student must have passed 10+2 and have done a computer course of minimum 6 months duration. Students with a three year Diploma in IT from State Board of Technical Education are also eligible for lateral entry to BCA programme.

The eligibility for lateral entry is 10th+ 3yr Diploma / 12 + 2 Year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. In any stream with subjects as Mathematics with a minimum of 45% to 70% marks. Some good colleges for lateral entry are: College of Engineering Pune

Yes, you can get MIT-Pune. But it also depends on the branch which you applying for, the cut-off varies from branch to branch. When filling CAP form, give 1st preference to MIT-Pune, MIT-Kothrud, MIT-Alandi, etc. All now come under MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering. You can get more details about it on the websites given below. AUEET 2018 Eligibility criteria:
The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject. The minimum aggregate requirement is 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the above subjects. Additionally, the candidate needs to qualify AUEET 2018 to be eligible for admission.
