Eligibility criteria for seeking admission in 3 years Diploma in Engineering in any polytechnic is that the candidate should have passed 10th class examination with minimum 35% marks (differ in each state) from a approved Board of School Education, or equivalent examination. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for Diploma in Engineering.

No, polytechnic is a 3 years diploma which is equivalent to a 10+2 qualification and not a degree. He has to complete his graduation with minimum 50 percent marks first in order to be eligible for CAT as well as other entrance examination for admission to an MBA program.

Shubham, if you already are 12th then better would be to go for BCA. In case you are not, then better option would be to for Diploma, infact better option would be to go for Dual Diploma Degree for better career prospects.
In my opinion doing a diploma and then again starting with the search for a college/ university for B.Tech or doing 12th and then giving entrance exams and wait for admission in some good institute.it is better to take admission in a Dual Diploma-B.Tech course.
