Every year the Air Force conducts SSB. You can take part in it. Moreover, There is an exam conducted for it every year named AFCAT. You can apply for this exam to join Air Force.

Yes, you can do one course regular & with that one course in distance mode. You cannot do two courses at a same time regularly. There are many good universities available for distance education like Manipal University, Karnataka State Open University, etc.

It is a little typical to transfer from one government engineering college to another but if you will get good marks in the 1st-year & you have a genuine problem then you can easily change by submitting an application. Also, both colleges should agree.

No, it's not good to opt for polytechnic after 12th. You must first exhaust trying to get admission in engineering colleges. If it fails then only go for polytechnic.
