In B.A. Psychology course offered in Mithibai College, the main condition of eligibility is to clear the Class 12 (Higher Secondary School Certificate) exam or equivalent to a recognised board. Also, admission has become mostly dependent on a mix of Class 12 marks and CUET UG scores with each factor having equal weight as indicated by the New Education Policy (NEP). Although there is some old information that talks of direct based on merit on the basis of 12 th marks the latest system of merit marks in 2025 is with CUET. An excellent level in both is essential because the programme is very popular.

No, their eligibility criteria are different. Though the subject is the same, the course streams are different. For the BA Psychology admission, you'll need to pass Class 12 from any stream, but for the BSc in Psychology, you'll need to pass Class 12 with the Science stream only. Their minimum eligible marks can also differ.

If you are well settled in your career, then you shouldn't change because studying psychology ll require a lot of time and patience, and developing a career in psychology also requires time.

I understand, you are interested in psychology, then you can do 6-month to 1-year courses from a distance offered by IGNOU and Jamiya Miliya Islamiya College, Delhi.

Depending on the particular requirements of the course and college you might still be able to select different combinations under the BA programme if you are not eligible for Economics Honours since you did not take mathematics in your 12th grade. The eligibility criteria is that one must complete PUC degree or 12th class equivalent. This degree certificate has to be issued from a certified board. One should have scored a minimum of 50% marks out of the total marks in the PUC examinations or 12th class equivalent exam. One needs to write the Karnavati University Admission Test (KUAT) which is the entrance test that the university conducts to select the eligible students for admission.
