If you have a valid PG from a reputed University, definitely you can work as a Counselor in schools and colleges. Also, there are hospitals who absorb counsellors as grief Counselors, Genetic counselor s etc. You may need special training for the later.

Philosophy and Psychology are two different subjects. If you're a graduate with good marks, you can join for MA/ M.Sc. Psychology. There are universities which offer Distance Education too.

Biology at 10+2 stage is not compulsory for an undergraduate degree in Psychology. The basic eligibility for admission to BA Psychology programme is a pass in intermediate or 10+2 examination from a recognised board or university. However, some colleges may require prospective students to have studied psychology as a subject at the intermediate level.

Yes, you can do it. It is good to have a background of computer science when studying psychology. Most of the times it also opens new ways and areas of research. Many concepts arise after having a specialization of psychology.

Hello Akash,
It is indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in psychology. If you had mentioned your place of residence then it would have been easier to render advice correctly. Okay. Let me still attempt. I feel your first preference should be college in your place of residence if psychology is offered. Then the place of university and lastly your state capital. Again normally speaking, there are no entrance tests for admission to BA. And it is invariably based on marks obtained in class 12th. Best wishes.

There are not many colleges offering this course in Mumbai/Pune/Maharashtra. Those who offer this course, admission is invariably based on the entrance test conducted by the concerned university. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.
