A Psychiatrist is a person with MBBS and MD/DPM in Psychiatry and is considered as a doctor who can prescribe medicines. But psychologists cannot prescribe medicines and rely on alternate therapeutic approaches such as counselling, guidance and psychotherapy.

Hi Ritika
Selection between B.A. Psychology and BBA Event Management will depend on
1. Your long term goals
2. Your orientation.
B.A. Psychology can be good for you if you wish to become an academician, researcher or even you can be a practicing Psychiatrist. You can involve yourself in counselling jobs also.
BBA Event Management requires creativity, lot of networking, hard toil and labour at odd places and odd temperature. But yes you will get a quick access to corporate life.
Hope it serves your purpose.
Good Luck!

While selecting the best college, you need to check some of the important parameters such as recognition, year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.

You may have a great passion for psychology but when it comes to job opportunities you need to study MBA or other professional courses and then you need to acquire employability skills to be employable. Most of them struggle to survive in the west and work for peanuts in India. So called 'average' and below 'average' students (although it is judged by mar
