Robotics is one of the emerging sector in current scenario of digital world. There is little bit less market of robotics in the Indian market, but if you are looking for foreign then it is best.

Let me give few reasons of why you should not join Acharya Mechatronics or Mechatronics at all in VTU. Acharya is doing pretty well in placements. This year itself more than 350 students got placed (most of those are in IT companies). Its big achievement for private state level institute but no core mechatronics company visited the campus (I wonder is there any pure mechatronics company). Very few mechanical companies visited campus and most of those companies were allowing mechatronics student to appear test & interviews. I thing so there is no point in joining mechatronics because at the end of the day you will be working in mechanic
