First of all, don't worry about this thing as you will get to learn it's not like as soon as you go into a firm and they provide you accounting. Any firm if you go for first teaches you the Ifs and Buts and when they think you are capable enough to do then only they will give you the responsibility. Getting confused which one to choose and coming out of it is totally your decision but for this you need to figure out are you good in presenting yourself or representing a firm? If yes, then go for marketing and if you are good with numbers and calculations then finance is good for you. Try talking to your seniors or professor

Placements are good for marketing with an average package of 4-5 LPA. Management trainee, corporate sales, and sales executive are the roles offered by the company.

And yes, you can pursue MBA in Marketing, there is no need for sales background to join MBA in marketing. You only need a graduate degree. Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in a three-year Bachelors degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University. I would suggest, Instead of focusing on what course have greater scope or placement, why don't you concentrate on one of your convenience and interest from those and work hard such that you excel in it and with your skills and diligence and you can improve yourself. Ultimately your hard work will pay off and you would be able to earn good. Moreover both the course would lead to you to similar packages. The average packages of both the course is somewhere similar. So choose what you really want to do and excel in it and in return you will earn yourself a good company and desired package.
