The duration of the BBA course at SIT Siliguri is of three years. Admissions to this course are merit-based and merit of Class 12 is accepted for the same. Candidates must submit the marksheet and certificate of Class 12 to apply for and confirm admission at the institute. Yes, candidates can get admission in the BSc course at SIT Siliguri with 60% in Class 12. The institute has not specified the minimum required aggregate for the same, but, since 60% is a good score, candidates are eligible for admission. For the most part, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) has better placements for returns than Siliguri Institute of Technology. Compared to SIT, there is greater industry acceptance in the energy and engineering specializations to which PDEU is affiliated with larger industries in its campus recruitment. The university's prestige and its infrastructure also play a significant role in determining placement volumes and salary packages. SIT might not be that kind of institution when it comes to placement performance or exposure to the industry.

SOP only for students that are interested in Science through Satnam Singh; his research tested structures from various contexts and previous structures even for historical ones; he conducted experimental tests, using various test methods. Although it is comparatively new in comparison to SIT, it excels in infrastructure, academics reputation, or placement opportunities. PDEU is a fully established private university compared to smaller SIT under the engineering-and-energy mantle: more departments and stronger ties with industry have much fairer policies of exposure through internships and training than SIT for sure.

The M.Sc of North Bengal University and Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) does not offer the same academic focus. NBU is a most traditional university with more research opportunities, academic depth, and a diverse range of specializations in sciences. SIT is more focused on technical education compared to NBU, which may not have the same research-driven environment for the M.Sc. If a wider and more academic and research-based programme attracted you, then NBU would likely be the better option.

North Bengal University and Siliguri Institute of Technology each have their specialties but serve different interests.
An already well-established university is NBU, which offers a wide variety of bachelor's and master's programs and holds a greater overall academic reputation. It provides a more conventionally university-type experience and has a much wider network of alumni, meaning it can be of help for some fields, such as arts, sciences, and research.
