Siliguri institute of technology is a private Engineering and Management college established in 1999 in Siliguri West Bengal India. Initially the college was under North Bengal University and from the year 2004 came under the control of the newly formed West Bengal University of technology. Now renamed as Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology. The college is a part of techno India group.

The fee structure has been keeping varying for B.E. / B.Tech classes at SIT. Students can expect the tuition fee to be around INR 80,000 to INR 1,00,000 per annum, and other charges, like development fees, library fees, and examination fees so that the total account at the end of every year is approximately INR 1,10,000 to INR 1,30,000.
