Admission to MBA course is based on MAT/ JEMAT score followed by a counselling round. Aspirants must meet the eligibility requirements to avoid rejection during the scrutiny of the applications. The students pursuing a course from the institute are open to scholarships provided by the West Bengal Government. West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation provides Post-Matric Scholarships and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. Scholarships will be provided to eligible students in order of merit and subject to the budgetary allocation provided by the State Government. For renewal, the aspirant will be eligible for the scholarship if he/she has obtained 50% aggregate in his/ her previous examination.

Admission to MCA course is based on WBJEE JECA score followed by a counselling round. Aspirants first need to apply for MCA on the official website. Candidates who have qualified WBJEE JECA can provide their score for the selection process. After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for document verification and counselling round. Selected candidates are required to pay the course fee to confirm their seat.

BBA is a three-year course divided into six semesters at SIT Siliguri. The course includes core papers, discipline-specific electives, generic electives, and skill enhancement courses. The students are required to choose one of the specialisations in the fifth semester from the following streams: Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource Management. BBA is offered in three specialisations, General, Accountancy, Taxation and Auditing, and Hotel Management. BBA is offered in two specialisations, General and Hospital Management.

Yes, candidates who have completed Class 12 with Mathematics/ Business-Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Practices as one of the subjects can apply for the BCA course. After the completion of the selection rounds, one need to proof their eligibility with the supporting documents during the counselling process. After completion of the counselling, aspirants need to confirm their admission by paying the course fee.

A pass in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of  Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology /Computer Science /Computer Application/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category is required to apply for BTech course. Additionally, candidates must have passed Class 12 with English with at least 30% aggregate.
