No Ragging at all, I am not sure if this is a perk, some little of it is fun. Excellent placements, the university brings you top product-based companies like Google, Informatica, Amazon American Express, Code Nation, Walmart, Nutanix, JusPay, and a lot of other companies as well. Support for NCC and sports activities, if you are good at sports the university will support you give you attendance, even scholarships for you to play and represent them. The fees here are comparatively less and they offer many scholarships to the students too. It has good foreign exchange programs, you can meet a lot of international students on the campus as well and also go to other international universities for semester exchange if you are interested. Placement starts as early as the end of the 6th semester for CSE students. It is close to the mountains, I have to add this as a three-hour drive can take you to Shimla, Manali, Triund, Rishikesh and all other beautiful spots are nearby so incase you want to travel and you like mountains you can make the best of your college life on weekends.
