For NITs you should have a percentile of around 97 percent in JEE mains for open category and for any engineering college in India for a open category student it is mandatory to get a percentile of over 90 to get into software based course in the college.

Students are required to apply directly to the college where they are seeking admission. They must of course score the minimum marks required in their examination which is equivalent to 12th.
