SRM University doesn't offer MBA in airline and airport management.

There is no counseling fee for SRM, but while coming for counseling you need to bring a check for INR 1 lacs and if you back out after that, then you'll get 90,000 back. But, if you join then you just need to pay the remaining fee and no separate fee will be charged for counseling.

The main campus which is located in Kancheepuram is the best for all the streams provided, because it has the best facilities provided. Also, the number of students from different parts of the country as well as world are much more than any other campus. A lot of co-curricular activities also takes place so you get a good exposure and ample amount of opportunities to take part and do things other than studies. The faculty and the equipment are also a lot better than in any other campus so the main campus is the best option for any stream. You need to be specific for which year you want to know. The batch of 2021, as in the students who got in this year (2017) are around 1200-1300. The number of students keep on increasing every year for this branch.

I would go for VIT any day just because the college has a better reputation ranking 6th on the list of the best private, while SRM ranks 11th on the same list.
Life at VIT is a little more hectic and restricting than life at SRM, this is because of the fact that you will have to solve daily assignments and your classes runs from 8:00 to 7:00 if you belong to CSE in the first year, this is the case at VIT.
While at SRM, you have classes till 5:00 in the first year, and there are no such assignments. Also, you get to go out as many times as you want to, unlike VIT.
So in clear sense, you get to have much more freedom at SRM.
Placements:

SRM supports a 250 acre campus in Kattankulathur while Sathyabama is a college situated in the heart of the city Sathyabama is known to be more strict as compared to SRM be it academics or lifestyle. At SRM you are free to go for outings or to interact with your friends after college hours while it is not so for Sathyabama University you are provided with a limited number of outing.
Coming to brand name SRM is the clear winner as it ranks among top eleven colleges in the private sector all throughout the country.
