Yes, you are right as the SRM is now become a brand but the main campus is best. SRM Andhra Pradesh is just only using the name of SRM for marketing and they take large amount of fee which is not good to invest. If you want to invest such amount, you must try KIIT University.

Valiammai is one of the good campuses of SRM University, Chennai. Its placements are good but not more than the main campus.

Yes, Jaypee is a good option based on the number of companies that are visiting and the placement structure. SRM University is also good.
