According to ETS website, GRE exam fee is INR 22,000 for general test. INR 14,500 for subject test. GMAT exam fee is USD 300 (INR 25,643). 

In short, GMAT is more expensive than GRE exam 2026.

No, the GRE is not typically required for pursuing postgraduate (PG) medical degrees abroad. In short, GRE is required for non-clinical post graduate programs.

Countries and universities usually have specific entrance exams. For example

  • USA: Requires the MCAT (not GRE).
  • UK: Requires exams like UCAT or PLAB exam.

Students must fulfill the basic eligibility and submit all the required admission requirements to get accepted into Queen's University. For ug admission students must hold proof of a high school certificate whereas for pg admission a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent is required. The DAAD scholarship is a financial aid offered by the German Academic Exchange Service, primarily to PG, Doctorate & PhD students, keen on studying & pursuing research in Germany,

Yes, Indian students are eligible to apply for the DAAD scholarship.

However, Indian students have a very limited number of slots available to them, therefore interested applicants are advised to apply early.

German actor: Axel Prahl, is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.

Axel pursued a degree in acting at the institute between 1982 & 1985, before going to make his acting debut in the TV series for ZDF in 1994.

Prahl, won several accolades for his acting including two Adolf Grimme Awards, & is also known for acting in 23 episodes of the crime series: Tatort.

Juliane Koepcke, a Mammologist of German-Peruvian descent is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.

Juliane is famous for being the sole survivor of the LANSA plane crash of 1971, after lightning struck the plane at mid-night, & the plane disintegrated with Koepcke surviving the free fall into the Amazon Rainforest.
