According to Business Standard, no. of Indian students in Ireland was about 9K students in 2023/24, which is 2K more than last year. 

India has now become country with highest no. of international students in Ireland surpassing USA in process. Rise in no of Indian students is down to some factors as mentioned below-

  • Easier Immigration Policy than the USA, UK & Australia
  • Cheaper cost of studies & living than the UK
  • Better availabilty of part-time jobs
  • Presence of world class colleges & universities
