Indians can apply for mainly three main Singapore work visas:
- Employment Pass (EP) for professionals with higher salaries
- S Pass for mid-skilled workers
- Work Permit for semi-skilled jobs.
Each category has specific eligibility criteria to apply, including qualifications, salary, and job type.

The answer is to focus on your current English proficiency, your target PTE score, and the sections you struggle with most. Look for resources that specifically address those areas and cater to your learning style (e.g., visual, auditory, hands-on practice).

The official PTE preparation resources explain in detail types of questions, time needed and ways to answer questions. So yes, official prep material is more than sufficient as compared to others.

Yes, Indians can apply for a Singapore work visa, only if they have a secure, valid job offer. The Singapore employer who will offer you job must file the application on your behalf. Approval depends on meeting eligibility, educational qualifications, and minimum salary requirements.

To crack the PTE in 15 days, understand the format, assess your level with a mock test, and dedicate focused practice to each section: Speaking (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, Retell Lecture), Writing (Summarize Text, Essay), Reading (Multiple Choice, Re-order, Fill in Blanks), and Listening (Summarize Spoken, Multiple Choice, Fill in Blanks, Write from Dictation).
Use quality resources, manage time strictly, review mistakes, build vocabulary and grammar, take full mock tests, and stay confident.

No, you can't "fail" the PTE exam, but you can fail to achieve your target score from the institution you're applying to. Note that there is no universal "pass" or "fail" mark for the PTE Academic test.

Universities and immigration bodies will consider your best overall score from a single sitting that meets all their specific criteria (including sectional cut-offs).
You can choose to share only your best scores if you have taken multiple attempts of the PTE esam. Your university or visa offices cannot view the scores from your other attempts (except from the ones that you share).

Yes, it's best to openly discuss any academic gaps, failures, or unexplained changes. Use this as an opportunity to show growth, reflection, and resilience. Rather than ignoring or hiding a dip in grades or a break in your studies, briefly explain the circumstances and, more importantly, emphasise what you learned or how you overcame challenges. Admission panels appreciate honesty and maturity over perfection.
