Hello Karthik,
Actually, the cut offs depend on the average score of the candidates who appear in the counselling and not the NEET exam.
The counselling depends on the date of NEET exam counselling as many students are eligible for medical as well as engineering admissions. If they get medical seats then they won't attend engineering counselling.
So this makes the students whose ranks are behind to be called earlier as many would have dropped engineering counselling for medical counselling.

Hello Yash,
TNEA stands for Tamil Nadu engineering admissions. It is for the admission into Anna University and its affiliated colleges based on a single window counselling.
Anna University is a highly reputed university in India and there are some of the top institutions like PSG Coimbatore, SSN Chennai, etc. which are also one of the top private universities that come under Anna University.
Students from all over Tamil Nadu can participate in this counselling and students who are a native of Tamil Nadu can also participate. The other state students who are not a native also are eligible but there are only less number of seats for them

Hello Udhaya,
The exact date is not known till now as there is no official announcement for that.
You need to refer www.annauniv.edu or www.tnea.ac.in for further updates.
As the NEET counselling commences from July 17, the TNEA counselling will probably begin on or after July 17 only.

For admission into Hindustan University, you need to write a separate entrance exam called HITSEEE. After that only you can get admission. It doesn't come under Anna University.

Right now, I hope you would be in a good college. So, it is not right to answer this now but I'm answering for the sake of others.
With this cut-off score, you cannot get any top colleges but some average colleges you can get. Look for a good one in the counselling.

It is just a single window counselling under Anna University which is for admissions into affiliated colleges under Anna University.
So, you need to appear for that counselling and there is no separate entrance exam for it. This year, the applications have been closed so that it is better to join a college with your marks or contact the admin if you wish to.

No, you need to submit all the attested photocopies within the specified application time. If you haven't received them, then you need to at least have a temporary copy of it.
Maybe you may ask the admin or at the time of counselling.

Hello Aditya,
Yes, the students from other states can also apply for TNEA counselling. For that, you need to meet the required eligibility conditions. You need to apply for counselling at www.annauniv.edu. I think the applications have been closed on May 31st and the counselling process is about to start.
