Yes, as an OCI cardholder, you are eligible to apply for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) under the "Open Category". However, this eligibility does not apply if you were born in a foreign country after March 4, 2021

Candidates holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards are permitted to participate in TNEA under the "Open Category".

If you are a native of Tamil Nadu, you are also eligible to participate in TNEA.

There is no separate exam for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Admission is based solely on the candidate's class 12 marks, and seats are allotted via the state level TNEA counselling process.

Yes, you can get admission to Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling, provided you meet the eligibility criteria and rank requirements. MIT is one of the prestigious engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu, and admissions are primarily based on the marks you have obtained in your 12th board exams (for Tamil Nadu students) and your TNEA rank.

TNEA counseling is conducted for admission to various government and private engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, including MIT. Be sure to regularly check the official TNEA website for updates regarding application dates, eligibility, an
