Both universities are average based on their rankings, popularity, and cost. BITS Dubai, and Heriot Watt, both are popular for their Engineering programs. The only difference is HWU has better industry ties, and awarded as the best university by Forbes Middle East.

Heriot-Watt University ask for Second Class lower with 70% or 3.5 CGPA on 5 scale in case of UG admission. Along with this, students should submit a transcripts, programme related documents, and English language requirements, and more.
