Hi Somi,
The UGC is an individual agency which is responsible to approve sure the quality education and infrastructure in the university and colleges. University Grant Commission gives approval to the colleges if it fulfill all the UGC Norms to provide the quality education to the students. After qualifying the NET exam you do not need to attend any written examination and will be selected based on personal interview. Hope it will help you. All the best.

Hi Ambika,It is good that you are post graduate in Mathematics and B.Ed. As a qualified post graduate, you are eligible to appear UGC NET Examination in Mathematics, because, your post-graduation subject is Mathematics. Another thing is that you should have more than 55% marks in Master's degree. If you have 55% marks, then cheer up and try for UGC NET.

Hello,
You can apply for the UGC NET Exam after completing the Post graduation in the relevant subject. You must have atleast 55 % marks in the post graduation. The candidates completed Masters from IGNOU are definitely eligible for the UGC NET Exam. You can apply for the UGC NET Exam in the final year too if you have given the final year exams and waiting for the results. Hello,
If you have minimum 55% aggregate marks in MBA Finance, then you can apply for the UGC NET exam Commerce or UGC NET Economics. Because Finance subject is related to Commerce and Economics subjects and according to the NET exam guidelines candidates can appear for the exam with the subject in which they have done their Masters or related to that. If you want to be appear for the JRF NET exam then you have to fulfill the age criteria also I. e. 30 yeras maximum age to apply. Reserved category aspirants get the relaxation of 5 years in age. Hi, For now, the guidelines for men are as follows:
1. Male students are not allowed to wear kurta pajama or shoes to the exam center. In case they do not follow this instruction, they won't be allowed to enter the examination hall.
2. The proper dress code for male students includes a light-colored jeans, trousers and half-sleeved shirts, with sandals or slippers.

Hello Sunita,The NET Exam is held for the determination of candidates for lectureship and JRF. As per the official notification, the candidates who have completed their Master's degree from recognized university with more than 55% marks. Here, recognized means that the university must be approved by university grant commission, AICTE. These are the agencies which approved the universities based on the basic infrastructure or publish guidelines to maintain required quality.
