If you have completed Masters in the Bio Chemistry, you can appear in the UGC NET with the relevant subject. As per the Eligibility of the UGC NET Exam, you need to complete Masters in the subject with at least 55% marks. (50% for the reserved CAT Candidates).

The candidates those want to make career in the lectureship and Research programme must prepare and appear for the National Eligibility test. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in the month of June and December month usually. It is really hard to select a good study material for the preparation of the UGC NET exam. The UGC NET Exam is held for around 100 subjects. The candidates can apply for their post-graduation subject only. In my opinion, books should be used to clear the fundamental concepts and to make strong your basics. Then start to solve the previous year papers and sample question papers. Solving papers will make you aware of the difficulty level of the paper and you can know the type of questions asked in the exam. The study material should have easy language, notes with related questions, sample question papers and previous year's pa

The UGC is an individual agency which is responsible to approve sure the quality education and infrastructure in the university and colleges. University Grant Commission gives approval to the colleges if it fulfill all the UGC Norms to provide the quality education to the students. After qualifying the NET exam you do not need to attend any written examination and will be selected based on personal interview. Hope it will help you. All the best.

You can apply for the UGC NET Exam after completing the Post graduation in the relevant subject. You must have atleast 55 % marks in the post graduation. The candidates completed Masters from IGNOU are definitely eligible for the UGC NET Exam. You can apply for the UGC NET Exam in the final year too if you have given the final year exams and waiting for the results. If you have minimum 55% aggregate marks in MBA Finance, then you can apply for the UGC NET exam Commerce or UGC NET Economics. Because Finance subject is related to Commerce and Economics subjects and according to the NET exam guidelines candidates can appear for the exam with the subject in which they have done their Masters or related to that. If you want to be appear for the JRF NET exam then you have to fulfill the age criteria also I. e. 30 yeras maximum age to apply. Reserved category aspirants get the relaxation of 5 years in age.
