Hello Souvik,
The candidates are allowed to apply for their post-graduation subject or its related subject if there is no subject of your post-graduation. The UCG NET exam is conducted for the lectureship at the university or the junior research fellowship. As you have completed the Masters in Pharmacy you may apply for the CSIR NET Earth Science. After that, two choices are given, one is JRF i.e. junior research fellowship and other is assistant professor. Both are directed by the central government. You will get a stipend for JRF and get placed as a professor in colleges if you choose the assistant professor option.
All the best.

Hello Pavneet,
Yes, you will be eligible to take UGC NET exam in the final year of your post-graduation. You can appear for the UGC NET exam with the subject which you opted for in Master's degree. However, you will only be considered for the admission for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor when you have passed their Masters Degree with required percentage criteria. Along with the educational criteria you should also follow age criteria of the NET exam. If you want to apply for JRF then your age must not more than 30 years.

As the exam is conducted for all subjects on the same day and same time. So, you can appear for NET exam with one subject at a time. It depends upon you with which subject you want to apply for NET exam. You can select the subject on the basis of M.Sc. Or M.Ed. But make sure you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters and if you want to appear for JRF then age must not more than 30 years.
