Hello Ghanshyam, You can apply for the CSIR NET exam. Let me tell you the difference between the UGC NET and CSIR NET. The CSIR NET exam is conducted for the Science stream candidates while UGC NET Exam is held for other stream like arts, commerce, dance, humanity etc. As you have completed the M. The UGC NET is a national level exam which is conducted for the JRF and lectureship at the university level. The NET exam is conducted twice a year. To prepare for the NET Exam check out some tips:

UGC NET is a national level entrance exam which is going to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education on 8 July 2018. The board has already announced UGC NET Admit card on 21 June 2018.

I think you are eligible, because eligibility for the exam is not more than 30 years, as on 01.07.2018. A relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories and to women applicants.

As per the official notifications, the candidates are allowed to apply in their post-graduation subject or in the related subject of their post-graduation in case if there is your post-graduation subject is not available.
