UC accepts your application through the Common Application portal. If you do not meet the English language eligibility requirements, you can apply through either Accelerated College English (ACE) Program Application or International Conditional Application.

PG courses

You can apply for any graduate programme through the university’s application portal.

Step 1: First, you need to create an account by registering as a first-time user.

Step 2: Once you log in, you can start your application by clicking on the ‘Start New Application’ button.

Step 3: A pop-up will appear with a dropdown option to select the application type. Select the appropriate one and click on the ‘Create Application’ button.

Step 4: Ensure that all seven key sections are filled before reviewing and submitting your application.

UC offers undergraduate programs in the Fall, Spring, and Summer Intakes. The application deadlines are as follows:

Note: Early Action gives applicants priority consideration to the university’s more competitive programs. Students aiming for UHP also need to apply by this deadline to be considered for Honors.

Graduate programs are also offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer Intakes. Check the respective department website to know which course is offered during which intake and their deadlines. Generally, for the Fall Intake, the deadline is in December, and for Spring Intake, the deadline is in June. The full-time MBA programme deadlines are as follows:

Graduate aspirants can avail department-specific financial assistance through fellowships, assistantships, and scholarships. Contact the respective college or department to know more about the type of assistance available for international graduate students. International undergraduate students are considered for the UC International Scholarships by default.

UC offers two merit-based scholarship award opportunities – UC Global Scholarship and International Outreach Scholarship. There is no separate application process for this as all completed applications are considered for these scholarships. Students are notified if they qualify for a scholarship at the time of their admission. For students applying to Uptown Campus, the average combined scholarship amount awarded is USD 8,000 per academic year, which they can avail up to four academic years (USD 32,000). A first-year (freshman) can renew the scholarships up to eight academic semesters. A transfer student can renew it up to four or six academic semesters (as per programme duration). To be considered for these scholarships, a student needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria and test score requirements:

*TOEFL, IELTS, or ELS do not show a student’s ability in Mathematics. If the TOEFL, IELTS, or ELS scores are submitted, a student needs to take the UC Math Placement Test (MPT). Contact the UC International Admissions office for more details.

UC is home to over 46,000 students from 50 states and 115 countries, out of which more than 3,500 students are international aspirants. The Graduate School has a diverse community of students representing 89 countries. According to UC, 20% of 11,000 graduate and professional students are international students. The international student body was 9% of students overall. There are now 47,914 students enrolled in the university's 14 colleges. This number includes 4,251 international students. The institution had the most international enrollment from a nation with 986 enrollments from India.
