Yes, in 2025 Galway University ranks better than the University of Limerick in Global Universities category ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

Galway University ranks at #538 and the University of Limerick ranks at #989. So, Galway Uni ranks better than the other one.

Yes, on-campus housing facilities are available for interested national and international students at Limerick. Students are allowed to live on campus in any of the eight student villages. They are also allowed to stay off-campus in private accommodation facilities.
