No. Once you have locked and submitted the choices, you cannot change the preferences of choices in UPTAC.

Candidates can fill as many choices as they want in UPTAC choice filling process. The list of courses and institutes available to the candidates is displayed based on the candidates’ rank in the entrance exam. Candidates can select and arrange the choices in order of their preference.

Choice filling in UPTAC counselling is the process wherein all candidates who have registered for the counselling, are required to submit their choices of Institute and Program in order of their preference. Based on the choices of the candidates and their ranks in respective enetrance exam, seats are allotted for admission.

For UPTAC counselling, candidates need to log in to the counselling portal using their JEE Main application number and the UPTAC counselling password.

After the document verification process is completed, eligible candidates will be notified via SMS or email. Upon receiving this notification, candidates can select their preferred branches and institutes based on their qualifications and interests. It is recommended that candidates choose only the branches and institutes they are genuinely interested in attending.

Candidates have to upload the required documents online from their respective login at UPTAC counseling website. Once the documents have been uploaded, various queries will be uploaded under the login of the candidates from the authorities regarding the documents (if needed). Candidates must respond to the queries and get their documents verified.

Once the documents are uploaded, verification will occur online in UPTAC counselling. During this process, candidates will receive various queries related to their documents via their login from the authorities, if needed. Candidates will have a designated timeframe to respond to these queries and address any issues. Those who successfully complete the query responses and resolve any concerns will be eligible to proceed to the UPTAC counselling choice-filling stage.
