The UPTAC counselling registration fee is INR 1000. The candidates pay the application fee online using modes like net banking/debit card/credit card.

AKTU releases the UPTAC counselling application form is the online mode only on the official website of UPTAC counselling - uptac.admissions.nic.in. Eligible candidates have to register for UPTAC 2025 to participate in the counselling process for admission to various first-year and second-year UG courses offered by all institutions affiliated/constituent to AKTU and other state universities.

No, there are no such requirements. The following candidates are considered the domicile of UP:
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP, or
- Candidates whose parents are domiciled in UP, subject to the eligibility conditions.
- If the candidate has passed a qualifying examination from outside UP, they have to upload a domicile certificate of their parents (Father OR Mother only).

Yes. As per the UPTAC counselling information borchure - under the approval of AICTE, identified institutions shall admit FN/PIO/CIWGC up to the extent sanctioned by AICTE as per the eligibility criteria and guidelines of the University. These supernumerary seats shall be exclusively meant for the FN/PIO/CIWGC students in undergraduate courses with the condition that under no circumstances a seat remained unfilled shall be allocated to candidates other than a FN/PIO/CIWGC. The candidates, opting for admission under this scheme, need not to appear in any entrance exam. The B.Arch. course does not exist for such candidates.

No, Admission to the BTech (Bio-Technology) course via UPTAC counselling is done based on the CUET UG course and not JEE Main ranks.

The eligibility for UPTAC counselling for BTech admission is given below:
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. And
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in the UPTAC counselling. Candidates must read the UPTAC information brochure before they apply for the UPTAC counselling process to understand the eligibility requirements and all the admission related procedures.

The UPTAC counselling merit is determined based on the JEE Main ranks of the candidates for BTech admission based. Based on the choices filled by the candidates in the counselling process, thir category and the JEE Mains ranks declared by NTA, seats will be allotted to the candidates. The UPTAC seat allocation result will be available on the official website under the respective logins of the candidates.

The class 12 marks is not considered while alloting seat to the candidates. BTech seats are allocated based on JEE Main ranks only. However, to be eligible for UPTAC counselling, candidates must have atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) aggregate marks in class 12.
