A candidate who opts to "freeze" their allotted seat confirms their acceptance and does not wish to participate in subsequent rounds of UPTAC seat allotment. By choosing to freeze their seat, the candidate will not be considered for seat upgrades in the next stages of counseling. However, the category of their allotted seat may still be upgraded or changed in the upcoming stages.
