With a rank of 2000 you can get admission at VSIET if you belong to the General HS category. For this category, the Round 2 the highest rank was 770798 for the BTech CSE course. So, getting admission at this institute could be possible. Please know that the cutoff depends on various factors, like avaialble seats, no.of applicants, difficulty level of exam, etc.

VSIET UPTAC cutoff 2026 has been released for Round 2 admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. The cutoff was released for various categories under the HS quotas. 

For the General HS category, the Round 1 cutoff ranged from 693945 to 1317085. Although, in the 2nd round, the highest rank accepted was 770798. Please know that the cutoff for other categories, rounds, etc., will vary. 

Not always. UPTAC is one route, mainly used by colleges that participate in state counselling, but many top private universities also run independent admission processes outside UPTAC. Some colleges accept both routes simultaneously, so you may have more than one way to secure a seat at the same college.

The UPTAC BArch counselling registration started on July 6 and the last date to register is July 20. Candidates can check more details from Shiksha portal or the UPTAC official website.
